STORES & SHARED EQUIPMENT

Know where the shared kit went.

For stores, workshops and teams lending reusable equipment internally, a register should show more than what you bought. It should show what is available now.

ONE LABEL. ONE EQUIPMENT RECORD.

Identify each reusable asset

Give tools, test instruments, electronics and other equipment an individual profile. Add identifying information and a QR label, then record the storage location your team actually uses.

Adapt handovers to your operation

Use the current customer/booking records for the department or internal borrower where appropriate. The present workflow still uses hire-style labels; a separate employee-loan workflow is not included. Test that fit in the demo before adopting it.

Keep damaged kit out of circulation

Record a fault with a clear description and required work. Use item status and inspection records to make the next decision visible to colleagues rather than leaving a note beside the equipment.

Simple quantities, not a purchasing system

Keepalto can reserve reusable unit quantities, issue consumables from a bounded on-hand balance and retain per-profile or multi-item stocktakes with attributed discrepancies. Multi-item count sheets commit all lines together. Teams can record an atomic whole-record move to another location with custody history, while partial pooled splits remain unsupported. It records damaged and missing reusable units, but does not yet provide recurring count schedules, low-stock alerts, purchase orders, supplier receipts or barcode-led warehouse picking.
