CHECKS & READINESS

See what needs attention before it goes out.

Keep dates, supporting documents and inspection history close to the item. A coloured status is useful only when the information behind it is correct.

03Review due dates
04Verify before release

A record, not a legal verdict

Choose which checks an item requires and record the applicable due dates. PAT tests, certificates, inspections and maintenance records can be stored against equipment. Your organisation remains responsible for deciding which laws, standards, inspection intervals and qualifications apply.

Check the whole booking period

Required checks are reviewed against the proposed hire dates. An item that has a certificate today may still need attention before the proposed return. Missing or expired required information can prevent a booking or checkout.

Assign the right operator

Record operator competencies and expiry dates, then assign an operator when the equipment requires one. These are records entered by your team, not automatic checks against a licensing body.

Keep evidence accessible

Attach relevant documents and record inspection outcomes. A green indicator is not a safety certification and cannot replace a competent person’s inspection. Requirements differ by equipment, use and country.
