Start with prompts, not a blank sheet
Choose from categories covering tools, plant, vehicles, electronics, events, sports and stockrooms. Add the name, manufacturer, model and serial number that distinguish one item from the next. A description gives the team context a stock number alone cannot.

Find the item, then open the detail
Search the register and filter the view before opening a profile. Availability, condition and recorded location are kept with the item. A QR label takes an authorised team member back to the private profile. In a compatible browser, the signed-in Scan action can use the device camera for that QR or an existing stock barcode; camera-denied and unsupported-browser paths retain exact stock/serial entry. It is not a public link to private customer information, and actual iOS/Android acceptance remains launch work.
Move across in manageable batches
CSV import previews up to 1,000 items per file, then saves them in resumable 50-item batches. Imported equipment starts on hold for review. Check serial numbers, required tests and descriptions before making those items available.
Choose individual, pooled or kit stock
Track a named reusable asset as its own profile, reserve several interchangeable units from one quantity record, issue consumables from an on-hand balance, or define a one-unit kit with required reusable components. A kit reservation allocates those components against their real availability and makes them explicit during packing and return; missing components are retained as exceptions. Nested kits and consumable components are not supported. Reusable returns retain good, damaged and missing quantities. Owner and Manager roles can count one pooled profile or complete a printable multi-item count sheet that commits all lines together. Whole-record location transfers retain custody and balance history; splitting one pooled balance across several depots is not supported yet. Keepalto does not provide purchase orders, automatic replenishment or warehouse picking.
